Grapes: 100% Sangiovese, Savignola’s best Sangiovese vines.

A limited production, obtained exclusively from Sangiovese grapes of our “Vigneto del Pozzo”, the result of a strict hand selection and a slow refinement in large French oak casks. It displays an intense ruby red color, clear and brilliant. On the nose, it captivates with an intriguing complexity, unfolding into a bouquet of balsamic herbs, cherries in spirit, and dried violets. On the palate, it is harmonious and elegant, thanks to perfectly matured tannins and a freshness that fully expresses the authenticity of Sangiovese. The dry, persistent finish reveals its potential for long aging.

Awards: “Mio” has received prestigious recognition from international wine critics and competitions, including James Suckling, Intravino, and AWC Vienna, which have praised its quality and expressiveness.

Perfect pairing: excellent with roasted meats, grilled dishes, and boiled meats. A true meditation wine, it also pairs perfectly with dark chocolate, a cigar, or a pipe.
