IGT – “the pure”

 “Mio” is the wine that Savignola has always dreamed of producing. The perfect combination of passion, identity and typicality, this wine is the ultimate expression of pure Sangiovese grapes and the soil it springs from.

A limited production, Mio is obtained exclusively from Sangiovese grapes from our vineyard “Vigneto del Pozzo”. Mio is the culmination of a strict hand selection of grapes and a slow maturing in its big barrels of French oak.

Of a clear and lively ruby red, it immediately shows its elegance and complexity on the nose. A fine and delicate aromatic range of our best pure Sangiovese, it reveals intriguing balsamic notes, cherries in alcohol and licorice.
On the palate it is fresh and lively, enveloping the palate with a delicately savory fullness supported by balanced tannins. The finish is soft and pleasantly persistent.
